About the Club

Ebbisham has been on its present site since 1937 and has become a well established Sports Club in both Epsom and Surrey.

The Club was awarded both Epsom and Ewell and Surrey’s “Sports Club of the Year” in 2009 and 2016. Its mission is to provide a sporting pathway for life, for all ages and abilities, from grassroots to elite level. Members can play racket sports at an affordable price and enjoy a sociable, healthy lifestyle, whether at a casual or competitive level - Ebbisham is a Club for life.

It is a friendly purpose-built club, open 362 days a year, with three dedicated courts each for badminton, squash & racketball and tennis.  The Club has over 400 adult members and over 200 junior members drawn from all over the borough and beyond.

Each sports section is affiliated to their sport’s governing body. Members take part in regular club sessions, participate in internal leagues and competitions and compete against other clubs in county and local leagues, with juniors receiving coaching from a team of qualified coaches.

Over the years, the Club has nurtured a number of champions including Chris Langridge, Badminton Bronze medal winner at the 2016 Olympics, and Jamie Matthews nine times England Deaf Squash Champion.

The large and comfortable bar lounge serves real ale, a selection of lagers, wine, spirits and soft drinks as well as a variety of bar snacks. Wide screen satellite TV shows major sporting events and there is a pool table. All members enjoy full access to Ebbisham's social facilities. A variety of social events are held throughout the year.

For our members, the lounge/bar is available to hire for parties, special occasions or wakes - please contact the office via admin@ebbishamsportsclub.com for information relating to hire fees.

All playing members have use of the changing rooms with hot showers and lockers for their valuables.  Both Ladies and Gent's changing rooms have hairdryers for members use.

The office holds stock of balls, shuttlecocks, grips etc. and we offer a faciity for restringing.

There is a free off-street car park available to members and their guests.

Racket sport clothing should be worn on court with appropriate footwear (shoes with non-marking soles for squash and badminton).
