REMINDER: SQUASH EXHIBITION NIGHT THIS THURSDAY 20 MARCH 2025

Dear Members

A reminder that Ebbisham will be hosting a Squash Exhibition Night later this week Thursday 20 March with two top England players Charlie Lee (highest WR #43, SquashLevels 37,675) and Sam Osborne-Wilde (WR #95, SquashLevels 40,405). There are still around a dozen tickets left, and it would be great to make the event a success and see as many of you there as possible.

Tiickets to the event for £12 for adult members and £6 for junior members, which can be purchased through MyCourts here:

  • The match will start at around 7.45pm, but we suggest getting there to get a drink and take your spot on the balcony / in the pews behind Court 1 beforehand. The players will be warming up against new Ebbisham member (and top England junior Luke McBride, SquashLevels 14,765 and being coached by Charlie) so there’ll be lots of great squash to watch if you turn up early!
  • Before the match, from around 7pm, there’ll also be the opportunity for all Ebbisham members to step forward and take on one of the pro-players in a single game of best-to-11 – a separate £12 add-on for this is available too.
  • The players will be sticking around in the bar afterwards for a while, and will talk and take questions on life as a pro-squash player.

I genuinely think this will be a great and novel event for Ebbisham to host so I hope we can support it with a sold-out crowd quickly. For many of us this may be the first opportunity to see professional-level squash live, and hopefully events like this can increase our passion for the sport as we head towards the LA Olympics, and see what pro-level tips we can incorporate into our own games.

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Ebbisham Sports Club <ebbisham@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Ebbisham Sports Club <ebbisham@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from ebbisham@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
