Hi All Squash and Racketball Members,
We are pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural Ebbisham Racketball Doubles Tournament 2025 and ask you all to sign up using the links below. Individual entry fee is £5 which will be taken from your MyCourts account.
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS 18th APRIL
The Tournament will start on Monday 12th May , with a Finals night on Friday 20th June.
Doubles pairs will be drawn “live” on Friday 25th April (this is also Squash Doubles Championship night) after the Squash Finals have taken place. So come down and watch the Squash Finals and then learn who your doubles partner will be.
Individual players will be seeded (by the organising committee!!) and split to create a top and bottom half of the draw. During the doubles draw, partners will be paired taking 1 player from the top half and 1 player from the bottom half to form a doubles team.
The format will initially be on a league basis with the top doubles partnerships going forward to the Finals night where both semi-finals and finals will take place on the same night. This will guarantee all doubles partnerships will play at least 3 matches - dependent upon number of entries received.
All courts for the tournament are free of charge, but must be booked through the Ebbisham Office, no exceptions.
We would really encourage all players from Racketball and Squash to take part, especially if you haven’t played racketball before and would like to enter a fun event with “seasoned” racketball players who will introduce you to the sport. We hope this will also encourage many more players to start playing racketball in the monthly leagues and enter the Racketball Championships later in the year.
