ENTRY TO TENNIS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS IS NOW OPEN

Dear Tennis Members

ADULT EVENTS

Entry to the club championships is now open and you have until 7 May to get your entry in to me.

There will be the usual men’s and women’s singles and doubles events plus mixed doubles.

The competition is open to all currently fully paid up adult, young adult, student and junior tennis members who have reached the required standard - ie if you have received this email you can enter.

OVER-50s EVENTS

Last year we introduced 2 over-50s events – 1 singles and 1 doubles. We are continuing with over-50s events this year, but with a slight change from last. The singles event is again open to both men and women who will play against each other, but the doubles will limited to mixed pairs only.

All participants in this category must be 50 or over on 7 May.

Entry forms can be found on the tennis notice board, together with copies of the tournament rules and I have also attached copies if you cannot get to the club in person.

Please ensure you have paid the correct entry fee - £5 for 1 event, £10 for 2 or more events – and attach proof of payment.

Also please retain the rules document for future reference.

JUNIOR EVENTS

In addition, Callum will be organising a number of junior events in various age groups as usual.

I look forward to receiving your entries very soon

With kind regards

Lesley Coles
