TENNIS FINALS WEEKEND - 4/5 SEPTEMBER
We are almost there. After 3 ½ months of competition, we are down to the final few. Please see the attached schedules for Friday and Saturday.
We are just missing a few names to complete the line-ups. 2 x semi-finals are booked in for this evening’s club session and 2 on Thursday.
Thanks to those of you who offered to call the score in the finals – it really helps players and spectators alike. However, there are still a few gaps – we need 3 volunteers on Friday and 3 for junior finals on Saturday. So don’t be shy, it’s very easy. Let Lesley know if you can help.
We are expecting huge crowds and seating is limited, so you might want to bring a folding chair.
The barbie will be fired up 3 times during the day, providing bacon baps (£3) for breakfast, hot dogs (£3) and burgers (£4) for lunch and tea. There will also be a charity stall selling cakes, cheese and fruit so no one should go hungry. Remember we will take cash only, so stop off at the ATM on your way.
