Dear tennis juniors and your parents
It’s almost at the end of term – we hope you have all enjoyed your sessions with Callum and his team of coaches and will be coming back for more in September.
In the meantime we would like to update you on what is in store for you at Ebbisham over the summer and beyond
Holiday camps . If you have not yet signed up for one of Callum’s tennis camps and would like to attend, please contact him directly. See his website callummacartytennis.com for details.

Court bookings . Remember, all junior members can book our courts free of charge during the day (and those of you who are designated advanced juniors may book at any time).
Club championships Many of you have been taking part in junior club competitions over the summer. Our finals day for junior and adult events will be on Saturday 6 September. Finalists will be notified of the time they are due to play. We hope that many of you will want to come and support them. Some of your coaches may also be involved in the adult finals – why not come and cheer them on. The club will be open from 9am so food (including a bbq) and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the day.
Junior club sessions. Some of you will already have been enjoying our term-time junior social sessions on a Wednesday at 16.30 - 18.00, but we want more of you to get involved. At Ebbisham we are always looking to improve your membership experiences and we are excited to announce that from September we will be able to offer two separate junior social sessions on Wednesdays:
16.00-17.00 : Mini tennis – orange and green ball players
17.00-18.00 : Yellow ball players
Ability varies hugely between a young child and a teenager and we hope this change will improve attendance in both age groups.
These sessions, which are led by our level 1 coaches, are not intended as actual coaching sessions but are an opportunity to put into practice the skills your coaches have taught you and to play games and enjoy tennis related activities. We hope you will come along to the social sessions, which are free of charge and included in your membership.
