SATURDAY 15 APRIL – GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO GET ON COURT WITH AND HAVE SOME COACHING FROM FORMER GB TENNIS STARS
Hi everyone – junior tennis members and parents,
You will probably have been handed a flier by Callum in the past couple of weeks advertising a unique opportunity open to Ebbisham members. But in case you have mislaid it, here is a reminder of the details.
On Saturday 15th April , 2 ex-tennis pros Danny and Martin from Bright Ideas for Tennis will be visiting Ebbisham during the afternoon. They are offering 2 sessions of coaching for our juniors (1pm for age 5 to 10) and (1.45pm for age 11 to 16) – See attached pdf for full programme of events, which includes adult coaching, fastest serve competitions and exhibition matches. There are still places on each of the junior sessions – cost just £5 per person. Places can be booked through the office or bar (payment by card please).
During the day we will also be holding a cake sale (donations of cakes welcome) in aid of the club charity – Epsom & Ewell Food Bank – and a barbecue. Remember to bring some cash if you want to eat. The bar will also be open for sale of soft and alcoholic drinks (payment by card please).
In addition we are pleased to support the Bright Ideas for Tennis charity in supplying used tennis rackets, equipment, shoes, clothing for underprivileged communities in Africa. So if you have any out-grown items, please drop them off at the club either beforehand or on the day. Thanks.
