Though most of the players will count tennis as one of their main sports, this is a reminder that all Ebbisham members plus guests are invited to take part in our mix-in tennis doubles handicap tournament this coming Monday, 28 August.
The tournament starts at 10am . Players will take to the court with a variety of partners and carry their own score through the morning. Even if you are not a regular tennis player, the self-regulating handicap system will ensure you are not at a disadvantage and it’s a great way to get to know other members. With an entry fee of just £3 (in cash on the day) it won’t break the bank.
The competition should end about 1pm , when prizes for the winning lady and gent will be presented. Following this we will enjoy a bring-and-share buffet (and probably a few drinks from the bar).
No need to book – just turn up and enjoy!
