Yes, we are already two weeks into our New Year of 2024, but did you know that 10 February marks the start of the Chinese Year of the Dragon ?
The tennis section traditionally organises a Chinese buffet meal & quiz to mark that occasion, and everyone at Ebbisham and your guests are invited to come along, enjoy fantastic food from Mei House and test out your quizzing skills.
Our meal starts at 7pm with the quiz following on from about 8pm. The cost is £13.50 for the meal, with quiz included. If you just want the quiz, it will be £2.50 per head. Payment may be made in cash on the night, but please don’t duck out at the last minute as food has to be ordered and paid for in advance.
The quiz questions are now set. We can promise there will be no questions in Mandarin or Cantonese, few- if any - questions on China, but there may be some on Dragons. Are you up for the challenge?
To book your place please sign up on the tennis noticeboard (next to the pool table) or email lesley.coles1@btinternet.com by Wednesday 7 February . Any vegetarians, please let Lesley know in plenty of time so you can be catered for.
