An invitation to all Ebbisham Members
On Monday 29 May the tennis section is holding one of its traditional bank holiday mix-in handicap tournaments, followed by the equally traditional barbecue.
On this occasion we would like to include not just tennis members + guests, but invite members of other Ebbisham sections to join us for an enjoyable day. The tournament starts at 10am and the bbq at about 1pm.
The tournament (£3 entry fee) will follow the popular self-regulating handicap formula – if you’ve not experienced this before, it is easy to pick up and certainly leads to some very close matches. Players will take to the court with a variety of partners and carry their own score forward. Prizes for the players with the highest overall scores.
The BBQ will comprise top-quality sausages & burgers plus Terry's special chicken, and a selection of salads and desserts – for the all-in price of £7-50 (payable in cash in the day). Please sign up on sheet on the tennis notice-board by Wednesday 24th May.
Any Veggies/Vegans amongst you, we ask you to kindly provide your own meat substitute and we will charge a reduced amount.
