Dear Members,
We are writing to let you know that Kenneth Scott has resigned as Club Chairman with immediate effect. As an interim measure the current Management Committee will be Chaired by Trustees Peter Culver and George Harrold and a Senior Management Committee member – John Coonan jointly, until such time that a new Chair is elected at the November AGM.
Please rest assured that the club has strong contingency plans for these eventualities, and we hope that you will not notice any drop in your enjoyment of Ebbisham.
Whilst we did consider appointing a new Chair from the current management committee, we felt that the interim measure was more practical and sensible given that the AGM is only 4 months away. This will allow all members to have a voice in the appointment of both the current Management Committee and the new Chair.
We will continue to keep you informed of any significant changes but if you do have any questions please contact your section Chairs, Anil, Chris or Rajeeva.
Finally, we would like to thank Kenneth for his contribution to the club.
