2024 Grading Review (Assessment for Possible Upgrade) - further clarification

Dear [[firstname]]

Unfortunately there were a few errors/omissions from the last email you were sent. Please make careful note of the following:

1. The dates and times of the D-section (possible upgrade to C) assessments were missing - these are Mon 10th and 17th June and will start at 8pm (until 9:30pm).

2. Assessments for B and C sections (for possible upgrade to A and B-sections respectively) will start at 7:30pm (until 9:30pm).

3 . There was a typo on the start date of the additional week (if it is required). The sentence should have read:

Should further assessment time be required then you may be asked to attend a further session during w/b 24th June 2024.

4. Members will initially be assessed within their current section for possible upgrade to the next section. Those who the assessment coach believes is a potential upgrade candidate will then be invited to attend a further week assessment in the higher section - others will be notified (by email) that they have been unsuccessful. The further assessment week in the higher session will, however, happen after the main regrading period has finished (i.e.after the end of June) and will be undertaken by the section panel. The final decision on any upgrades will therefore only happen following the additional assessment in the higher section.

We hope that the above should answer most of the outstanding queries and apologise for the fact that this was not contained within the original email.

Kind regards

The Badminton Committee
